Press Release | MOU Concluded with ConstellR, a European Satellite Development Venture. Business Use of Surface Temperature Data from the World's Most Advanced Satellite Fleet

Tenchijin inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Yasuto Sakuraba, President and CEO), a JAXA-accredited space venture company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ConstellR, a joint start-up from two of Europe’s largest research organizations. Through this new partnership, the company will expand the functionality of its proprietary land valuation engine, “Tenchijin Compass,” to provide more detailed solutions for areas with high population densities and dense residential and agricultural land, such as Japan and Asia.

By incorporating satellite data from ConstellR’s microsatellite constellation, which observes surface temperatures, into Tenchijin’s proprietary land evaluation engine, Tenchijin Compass, the potential for land evaluation services will be expanded even further. In densely populated areas such as Japan and Asia, where housing and agricultural land are densely populated, there are plans for further utilization in primary industries such as agriculture, as well as in urban planning and real estate.
