JAXA-accredited space venture Tenchijin corporation (Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO Yasuhito Sakuraba) is pleased to announce that it will exhibit at CYCL’EAU TOULOUSE-OCCITANIE 2024, a water event to be held in Toulouse MEETT, France, from  Wednesday 27 to Thursday 28 March 2024.

 

The event brings together French public and private water. It will feature over 120 exhibitors, conferences, workshops, discussion forums, and networking opportunities for all participants.

 

The Adour-Garonne basin, where the host city of Toulouse is located, covers one-fifth of France’s surface area and is an area where action is urgently needed to adapt to persistent drought and accommodate population growth and subsequent water demand. The event has been organized from 2022 onwards as an opportunity to rethink current water management models and infrastructures in the context of environmental protection and biodiversity. Practical solutions by anticipating environmental changes and promoting water conservation are essential.

 

■Tenchijin is launching KnoWaterLeak turnkey solution, which aggregates historical leakage and environmental data to locate faster water leakages at reduced cost .

 

KnoWalterleak aggregates data from networks and satellites into one platform. This data is visualized on one intuitive and user-friendly user interface. Subsequently, KnoWwaterleak maps the urban areas prone to severe risk of water leakage. Public authorities (régies, syndicates, etc) find faster water leakages and thereby increasing revenues. Water suppliers can reduce the cost and time of inspection and maintenance ultimately, they have more budget which they can allocate to other activities. They can enhance operational efficiency.

 

By participating at CYCL’EAU TOULOUSE-OCCITANIE 2024 on behalf of Japan, we hope that our leakage risk management system using space big data will be a promising solution to water problems in the South of France. We also aim to establish strategic partnerships in Europe and gain new perspectives for the future development of Tenchijin’s business. Through interaction with the water-related business community, we will strive to promote sustainable and environmentally friendly water management.
